On top of the Pico do Arieiro (1818 m)

Madeira's third highest peak

The tour starts at Carreiras area at 1150m high. We climb up through Montado do Pereiro park, crossing Poiso (1400m) to the highest point, the Pico do Arieiro. Our way down is leading us through a mix of forest roads and single trails to the levada. Along the levada we ride back to the Bikestation.
